Finding sanctuary in a world where prejudice and dangers threaten is a tumultuous journey, but eventually they find it. Well done.

  • Leviticus Jelks III: Patch of Blue

Patch of Blue is a powerful and elegantly told response to the Black Lives Matter Movement and the strained race relations that are prevalent in this country. At the center of the piece are two men who come from vastly different walks of life: one is Black and one is White, one considers himself and Atheist and the other dedicates his life to the church. Despite their opposing views on life, they both agree on the idea of "sanctuary" whether it is in one's faith or in the front pew of a quiet church. This is a wonderful play!
