At the age of 30, Katie walked away from a traditional career and relationship to help her widowed father raise his much younger daughter. By the age of 40, she has entrenched herself as the female head-of-household in her father’s home, and isn’t eager to move on. Now, Dad has decided to send his younger daughter away to boarding school, challenging Katie to make a decision about whether and how she’ll live her own life without the obligation of playing mother to her sister.
