Saw the staged reading of this last night at Theater Rhinoceros. This is a very funny play. It's a strong piece of writing; layered and thoughtful, but still light on its feet. When it goes to heavy places, it's moving and effective. The audience was into it. We were laughing and gasping, and the room was so packed people sat behind the actors. Would love to see this fully produced. Seems like a word-of-mouth hit waiting to happen.

Such a stunning play. The story centers around Kam who is a heartbreaking, complicated and nuanced former reality TV star on self-destruct. I was drawn in immediately by her story, journey and the tender relationship she had with her best friend Hyun-Joo. I highly recommend this beautiful piece.

A super compelling piece that explores the ways we use relationships--intentionally and not--to fill voids that need to be better addressed with self-reflection, healing, friendship, and honesty. Kam is a dynamic protagonist whose growing pains are well illustrated throughout. I loved the potential for impactful double casting of all of her lovers, exes, and friends. The thematic intersection of celebrity, queer identity and mental health, and the story being told through the lens of an entirely Asian and Asian American cast make for a complex and nuanced play. I'm eager to follow this piece's...
