Emma Rund tackles early-onset Alzheimer's in all of it's raw and difficult moments, while also managing to highlight the nostalgia and whimsy that comes with memory loss. The playwright gives us complex, difficult women (and one man), the classic family drama tied into more modern day issues, and lets us sink into oblivion and possibility for a few hours.

In Rosemary & Time, Emma S. Rund has created a clear-eyed portrait of memory loss and the pain it inflicts on two daughters coming to terms with their own issues. The playwright deftly portrays time "slippage" from the point of view of the title character, and what results is a thoughtful, uniquely female, journey into the spaces of memory and forgetting. Highly recommended.
