A unique and misunderstood friendship between Barbie Monroe (the 38-year-old wife of one America’s most powerful Baptist preachers) and Zachary Arnold (the 18-year-old guitar player and childhood friend of Barbie’s 18-year-old son) ignites a twisted chain of events that leads to a major shift in the Hopestead Baptist Church community.
