In the distant past, and the far future, choruses of pirates and goats convene to discuss important questions about their societies: Is this the best economy we could invent? Who invented it? Who must die to keep the economy running...

In the distant past, and the far future, choruses of pirates and goats convene to discuss important questions about their societies: Is this the best economy we could invent? Who invented it? Who must die to keep the economy running, and how can we make those deaths as invisible and exciting as possible?

    This script is so great! The language is masterful. It hooked me from the first scene with the pirates. I love the use of multiple choruses and how Tang leaves open exactly who is talking when. The possibilities! And the ways it all could be staged! Definitely a play I want to see! Reading it left me inspired - thinking of the economy, art, and death.
