I really enjoyed reading this. It grabbed me early with its rich sense of place, attention to detail, a distinctive tone, and a great lead role in Who. Although the play is eventful and covers a long period of time full of upheaval and social change, I appreciated the understated way it gestures to the importance and strength of community and continuity, with a persevering and moving main character at the center of it all.

The community of national & local readers for the 44th annual Bay Area Playwrights Festival enthusiastically recommends WHO'S GONNA LOVE YOU! as a Semi-Finalist this season out of 755 plays. We were deeply moved by the artistic merits of the writing with this play's sense of place, tone, and detail of the Tenderloin community of sex workers and were compelled by the play's promise as it explores Who's chosen family. We hope this play is widely read, finds dedicated collaborators, and moves swiftly towards production. #BAPF2021
