This monologue nails so many o of the truths about why we are here in a situation which is miraculous in and of itself, being able to live on a planet out of zillion of them and knowing there is just this one and not a reserve planet waiting in the wings when this one fails--why don't we as people start, even if we start with just one hour out of our day , to love one another just a little more and try to protect this mother that we seem so ready to throw away for good.

A commanding voice, a universal one, using scientific metaphors while addressing inequality and oppression during our pandemic time that really makes you think and agree with her. Hopeful, optimistic - lovely writing.
