A time travel romance in which the affected pair discover that they have made different assumptions about this situation than their partner. The consequences escalate while the two react in all too human ways. A wonderful, small sci fi gem.

This is a thoroughly engaging and thought-provoking genre bending (sci-com? rom-fi?) exploration of the mystery of attraction and the impact of future knowledge on present lives. Time travel has unanticipated and quite moving consequences for Brady and Grayson as their differing expectations come to the fore. There is a unique vision at play in this wonderfully crafted narrative.

In THIS TIME AROUND, playwright Daniel Repp has crafted a melancholy sci-fi rom-com that isn't really melancholic, nor romantic, nor a comedy... but it is oh so wonderfully satisfying. Thanks to a scientific accident, a married couple is sent back in time... back to their earlier lives. Their young selves still remember their lives-to-be, but find they cannot simply recreate them - if they should even wish to. Wise and thought provoking. Highly recommended.
