The narrator recounts his childhood growing up in failing businesses of restaurants and chicken farming. The narrator attempts to use this play to go back and and change the family destiny.

Simple, affable. Farmhand. HANNAH's husband. NATAN's father. Chicken farmer. Restaurant owner.

JOE KANE
Well-to-do well-dressed child of a local banker.
