Powerstories Theatre congratulates Joni Ravenna for being a finalist for the 2026 Voices of Women festival. Her timely play takes up the very important topic of human trafficking, which is a significant social problem the committee feels deserves more attention. Ravenna's script personalizes this horror and we encourage others to look at this script and consider producing it.

I got to see a reading of this play earlier this year and it was a clear standout! As harrowing as the story is, Joni Ravenna writes her characters distinctly and clearly, giving us champions to root for as they try to escape. This would be a powerful play to see live.
