It's hard out there for an actor. You can pour your heart and soul into a role and then they don't even show your face in the final cut. This funny short is all about one such example. Matthew's friends are so sweet as they try to cheer him up. This is a fun homage to aspiring actors - and I totally googled the Matt LeBlanc ketchup commercial after I finished reading it.

The world of being a performer is tough and the writer has perfectly framed that here. The story arch of the hope of dreams coming true for it then to hit a spanner in the works is brilliantly done. You feel sorry for Matthew but you also can't help but smile at the way his friends try to be supportive. The writer has perfectly captured not only an actors attempt to fame but also the way a support circle can come to the rescue when things don't go well. A perfect snapshot of the performers life.
