A fresh and interesting feminist take on the subject of LSD therapy. Seeing two housewife characters break out of the stereotypes of the time, and become fully actualized people carrying all of their flaws and uncertainty, was very compelling and empowering. The idea of what it would have been without that therapy, if those women were born just a few years later was on my mind the whole time. Then again, there is no way of knowing, and it’s that unknowing that is heartbreaking - the inability for the possibility of a different therapy for so many people. Thought-provoking.
