So theatrical, so fun, so unique. As a mixed Latina myself, I related to Maya's journey so much at times I had to pause and catch my breath. I love this play dearly. I can't wait to see where it goes next.

It can be easy to forget about the people — their lives, dreams, humanity — behind the things we love. From video games to television shows to, in this case, pro-wrestling, they're exploited by The Industry.

This play forces you to see these four women as complete individuals. You witness their power, insecurities, unabashed rage. In a stroke of genius, SMJ calls on us to root for The Industry's fictional caricatures of these women, while granting us the insight into their real lives to want to burn it all down.

I was on the edge of my seat the entire show. SMJ does an excellent job of bringing their audience into the world of Pro-Wrestling, and shows us that both that and the theatre industry, are not so different from one another. Excellent, meaty, and complex roles for young women. I cannot recommend this piece enough. Produce it!!!
