Nat, a precocious and goofy high-schooler, struggles with undiagnosed OCD. Jodi, her mother, becomes convinced that Nat’s compulsive behaviors are symptoms of demonic possession. With the influence of her best friend and secret crush, Polly, Nat pranks her mother into believing that she hosts a powerful demon. As the pranks grow, so too does Nat and Polly’s relationship, until Nat starts to lose control.
