Dana Hall has brought the struggles of this family to life in a way that shows forces the audience to confront the darkness that exists in an entirely unapologetic way. Its a play that swims through emotions to the point where you don't realise how far you've leaned forward while reading. Its a piece that feels very real while at the same time offering a great opportunity for a director/producer to create something beautiful and emotional.
