In the midst of a zombie apocalypse, we discover an awful truth – zombies stalk and kill humans because they lack any thoughts or emotions of their own. Eating the flesh allows them to feel again, to relive that slight bit of awareness of what it means to be human again.
Knowing that truth – to what lengths would you be willing to go just to get a final chance to say goodbye?

Mike Brannon makes a nifty little addition to zombie lore in Let the Dead Bury the Dead. Throw in a protagonist whose methods are as morally appalling as they are understandable and a gritty last stand, and you have a delightful horror gem that will haunt you. And yes, the Gather by the Ghost Light podcast does an excellent job bringing this one to life ("undeath"?).

[12.06.24] A zombie story is well-trodden horror territory and is, more often than not, cliched and predictable... However, this tale of the undead isn't rotten - it actually delivers something fresh and unique to the genre! Deftly produced on the Gather by the Ghost Light podcast.

Oh this is so dark and intense! A twist on the zombie trope that really plays on your emotions. What lengths will you go to for one last chance to say goodbye. Who and what will you be willing to sacrifice? Absolutely gory and chilling!
