Ooooo! Deb is crafty with this one! First you can feel yourself smiling at the word play and puns as they escalate through the conversation about something that should be simple (the acquiring of contraception) but then just at the last moment, wham! Deb presents a powerful though provoking punchline which, when i read it, stopped me dead. The term 'farce' becomes not only the style of the piece but the elements of modern society that it comments on, very clever, but then from Deb I expect nothing less.
