It's hard for a piece to be short and yet still manage to convey the full spectrum of human emotion. Siskind, however, renders it beautifully here. Listening to Gwen recount the story of Carhenge to her two children, and how she had experienced the same thing through their eyes with her father, I couldn't help but feel nostalgic about my own parents and all the times they tried to craft similar experiences with me. Very moving piece and deeply relatable.
