In 1857, up-and-coming Danish writer Hans Christian Anderson visited the English literary legend Charles Dickens for two weeks...which quickly turned into five. After a mortifying ordeal at his London acting debut, Dickens must find a way to politely throw out his infuriating guest, and decide just what it means to be a gentleman these days.

    As a huge personal fan of Charles Dickens & Hans Christian Anderson, I stumbled upon this play and told myself read it later, you're too busy now to do this. Like eating chocolate. I couldn't help myself. Absurd, comic, brilliant and a delightfully tasty center. Like chocolate. Sorry. Silly purely impressionist review. But you get the point. Read this play and enjoy some chocolate. Both will put a smile on your face.
