The community of National Committee readers for the 46th Bay Area Playwrights Festival advanced 1 LETTER SHY OF COINCIDENCE as a Semi-Finalist at Playwrights Foundation. We were highly engaged by the fluid interweaving of characters who experience injustice in both life and afterlife. This play has strong themes as we witness promising lives cut short. We are compelled by the strong point of view as it points at issues of privileges, incarceration, police brutality in theatrical ways.
