In the first act, Joseph, a young Mormon returns home from his mission with a secret to share only to find out that his best friend, Devon, has mysteriously gone missing and his own mother might have something to do with it. In the second act, we go back in time and witness the fateful meeting between Joseph's mother and Devon that was originally intended to plan a coming-home party but ends in a fateful conclusion.
