The community of National Committee readers for the 46th Bay Area Playwrights Festival advanced STANDING IN THE RIVER WHILE THE WORLD FALLS DOWN as a Semi-Finalist at Playwrights Foundation. We were engaged by the play's promise as a story of community loss told in a highly imaginative way with a chorus of ancestors in recliners.
