A legend for stories long forgotten, he feasts daily off his own reputation. Where does he get his ideas?
Kiss (Young to Middle Age Female)
Miles' personal dramaturg and critic who lives with the playwright and receives a salary, room, and board to give Miles feedback and to review his plays.
Elvis (Young to Middle Age Male)
A literary agent who has learned that the playwright’s most famous work was stolen from another playwright, Thesis, that he represents. He becomes the Miles' agent in order to mastermind a plot to give Thesis proper credit.
Norman Clature (Older Male)
Neighbor of the playwright who assists with the plan to expose Miles. Author of many books on subjects already very well known. Hip, but not as hip as he thinks he is. He wants to give Miles his comeuppance so he can be recognized as the hippest author on the block.
Thesis (Young to Middle Age Female)
Talent fitting for another time. Glorified by other writers but unknown to public. She seeks to find God in art
Bambi O'Zell (Young Female)
Socialite who makes a living out of thin air. She is hired to play the representative of a famous foundation in the plot to deceive the playwright. She pretends that the playwright is up for a famous fellowship grant but that the playwright’s stolen work is a hindrance to him accepting the prize.
