Bailey Jordan Garcia will never fail to amaze me— they always create the most interesting worlds that you want to get sucked into and leave me with tears in my eyes, not knowing it’s possible to laugh so hard in just 10 minutes. This play specifically is one of my favorites of theirs— the clever word play, these wonderful characters, and the general wacky premise that you’ll never forget— Garcia is a master at locking in an audience quickly, then keeping them captivated the whole time.

A downright hilarious exploration of friendship, fan clubs, and middle school infatuation. The three young characters in this short piece are bound together by a common infatuation until one of them realizes that she is no longer obsessed with the object of their affection and the group must determine how to handle it. The denouement is brutally perfect.
