After Coleman Greene (author/illustrator of Inky Do and the Terrible Two’s)
commits suicide, his daughter Nava comes home for the first time in sixteen years to face
the childhood she’s tried to forget. Accompanied by Amelia and Clyde (a sibling duo on
the cusp of estrangement), the group attempts to balance their secrets as they dig through
Coleman’s belongings. When her friends discover her paternal lineage, Amelia’s fandom
for all things Coleman Greene takes over, leading to escalating tensions and the discovery
of a final story written and illustrated just for Nava. The tale forces Nava to face her
father’s sanitized version of the childhood trauma that drove her away and come to terms
with the actual events that led to the sixteen-year estrangement.
