Rima is a Hindu single parent from Mumbai grieving the death of her husband. She meets a young Muslim graduate student in the San Francisco Bay Area and they fall in love. Over six years and two continents, their turbulent relationship faces myriad social obstacles including ageism, interfaith taboos, and geopolitics. Will they get what they want from each other and society? The play provokes audiences to rethink their beliefs, attitudes, and values so we can move towards a more inclusive, harmonious society.
