Very unique short piece! A wonderful parody of those game shows from the 60s and 70s - mixed in with a fascination with a classic truck to create a truly one of a kind story. Loved the characters - they would all be a blast to perform, loved the set concept - unique and wild, loved the ending - unexpected and realistic. This would be hilarious to see on stage. Well done.

TAKE MY WIFE! is highly inventive, unique, funny, and bold. Sarah Jae Leiber doesn’t pull any punches within the delivery of the play. The characters are so well crafted in this overly manic world that Leiber so expertly lays out. Would be a highlight at any short play festival.

It's farcical. It's violent. It's... oddly romantic? It's TAKE MY WIFE! by Sarah Jae Leiber!

This self-described fever dream of a play skewers the manic enthusiasm of couples centric game shows, vintage advertising, and bloody, sexy capitalism. Leiber's characters leap off the page, and make you want to see this twisted world come to life on stage. Extra points for Bonnie and Clyde references and a whole new meaning for "car sex."
