The Sea and its Keeper

Recommended by

  • Arthur M Jolly: The Sea and its Keeper

Hauntingly beautiful. The personification of the sea, in conversation with a lighthouse keeper at the end of her life. It's such a clever idea, emotionally staged, cleverly crafted. This would be a great one for a stagecraft, design or costume class to analyze - there wouldn't be two ideas the same - but it deserves to be seen. It's not a play I will forget anytime soon.
