In Terry and Kati's specific humanity lies innumerable deeper truths that all can relate to, and yet I am so appreciative of seeing such universal themes in a queer love story. I'd love to see this dynamic play realized live.

It is a powerful compacted theatrical piece that takes all the moments of a shared relationship; from the mundane to the extraordinary, and compacts them into a shiny jewel of a play. Pennycook gives so much space for the actors, directors, designers to fill in the details of the world. While giving the audience a sweet, funny, scary, human look at love, trauma, and the very human desire to build connections and a life with loved ones. Produce this play, I'd love to see it onstage.
