Setup: The character, Alex, is a project manager who has been preparing for months to lead an important corporate meeting. Today is the big day, but there's a huge problem: Alex can't find his car keys anywhere. The monologue captures Alex's frantic search, the comedic self-reflection on their scatterbrained tendencies, and the building panic as the clock ticks down to the meeting time.
