Tex (a chupacabra), shows up in 'The Underground', a bar owned by Maria (La Llorona). She just wants to read and eat her chimichanga but Tex wants to be social. When the subject turns to abortion and gentrification, the two clash over more than just ideals.

This is an interesting, entertaining play. The two characters are folklore characters, but it works as a dark comedy even if you don't know that. It's continually engaging and the audience doesn't know where it's going. Excellent pacing and dialogue. A fun play with many layers.
