Inventive, hilarious, and sharper than it first appears, *Every Sheep Counts* transforms a familiar bedtime image into a clever satire packed with laughs and surprising depth. Baughfman balances whimsy and social commentary with ease, creating a delightfully absurd nightmare that lingers long after the sheep stop jumping.

I cannot stress how brilliant this short play is. It really has so many layers and is so very funny! This play will have audiences thinking while they laugh, and maybe even squirm a little. This is one of my new favorite ten minute plays. Seriously.

05.04.25 - Evan Baughfman makes counting sheep the political football that it is. With nods to that portion of the audience asleep at the switch come election time, this tale of counting (more votes than) sheep is enough to make you get off the fence and jump it. Away from the nightmare that we all know he's talking about, that is. The laughs are more plentiful than the sheep in the play, and we'll all sleep soundly knowing he can lift us up faster than a ballon to the wrist.
