Frank and Claire Jones are a sweet, predictable retired couple leading sedate lives in the suburbs. That is, until their new neighbors, Mike and Karen Phillips, move in next door. Upon investigating some missing petunias, the Joneses accidentally stumble upon the shocking discovery that the Phillips have converted their home into a swinger's club for elderly couples called "The Trapeze Club." Initially scandalized, the naive Frank and Claire soon find their curiosity piqued by the raucous sounds of revelry and claims of improved intimacy emanating from the club. When an amorous club member damages the Joneses' begonias during a heated chase, the sheltered couple sees the swingers' world. As the buttoned-up Joneses are thrown into increasingly awkward entanglements with the age-defying free lovers next door, they're forced to confront whether to embrace this second sexual revolution or remain faithful to their decades of marital routine.
