Tubas!

“Tuba!” follows 5 tuba players from the collegiate marching band of a highly competitive Texan football team. The tubas navigate their personal identities - how they identify themselves, how others identify them, identities they inherited, and the identities they've chosen - within the hyper identifiable, “pull my finger” section of the marching band.

Tubas!

A wonderful play about the tenderness of being a very young adult and the complexities of discovering yourself. Though Jessica is the main character, each of the characters has a fully-realized arc. The backdrop of the tubas is hilarious - I loved it even as someone who isn't super familiar with college band/marching band. This unique play is a treat and I know it would be an amazing show to add to any theatre company's season!
