That was certainly a chilling minute, and with a nifty twist. What also struck me is that this monologue can be approached at least a couple of different ways. We can take it on face value, which is creepy enough. Or we can assume the character is an unreliable narrator, perhaps paranoid, giving it a Poe-like feeling. Quite an accomplishment in a minute.

05.30.26 - In just one minute we get the complete picture of what's going on and it's perfect. This starts out like any mob stalking any innocent person, but no, we get so much more than that. The last line turns things up to 11. Loved it.

Eerie and gripping from the start, this enthralling monologue builds to a surprising and satisfying twist climax. What a way to pass an entertaining and memorable one minute!
