A tour-de-force of a solo that demands the best actor. A linguistic extravaganza with a playful structure like a drag routine, with digressions, confessions, etymolology and backstory, and audience participation, all while pushing forward its subjects, mourning the loss of a loved one and depression. A compelling voice, grabs your attention like a joyride with a stranger, but you don't want to pull over. This better get produced or that'd be a f'ing travesty in American theatre.

A brilliant literary monologue that has a lot to unpack about the nature of relationships, grief, and everything in between. It is a super fast read, and I cannot recommend it enough. I really hope to see this one in-person in the future.
