Jen Diamond's writing captures this familiar yet eerie feeling of growing up, growing apart, growing dark. It's an intriguing snapshot of what it feels like to be in the nebulous young adult phase after college.

This characters in this play exist both on the edge of the water and the edge of adulthood, and none of them are sure whether they want to take the plunge into the future- but clinging to the past is getting harder to do as well. A play about what happens when friends change and you question whether the good times were actually really THAT good, this is a play that everyone can relate to on some level.

A funny short play about what it's like when people you thought you knew grow and evolve. I love the use of setting in this play. Diamond does a great job of painting the picture of this lake and the dock these women are gathered on. I loved the way time passes in this play. The lighting getting darker seems to directly impact the emotions of these characters. What happens when people outgrow each other? Diamond wonderfully tackles that question in this short play.
