THE CARE AND KEEPING OF YOU PAGES 76-77
CAST:
For the most recent workshop, all roles except Kimbo were played by adult cis male actors, and it actually
worked. Feel free to consider women over 50, elderly gentlemen, whatever sounds the most fun and
interesting and humanizing. Just don’t cast children.
Kimbo- An Australian camp counselor, 18, who was just looking for a way to get to the US for a summer
and make money pre-uni. Nice, patient, and most importantly, BIG tittied. Unbelievable jugs. Ideal
casting is Jimbo the Drag Clown, that’s how present they are in the space.
Nicole- the girl from Westchester. Her mom buys her lip gloss and lacy camis with spaghetti straps and
doesn’t make her wear another shirt on top. 13
Taryn- the girl from Weston, MA. Mom is in finance, Taryn is the girl who can’t play field hockey but gets
voted captain because she’s the nicest person anyone’s ever met. Already the mom friend at 12.
Genevieve- the girl from Chicago who lived in London for a year when she was 5 for her dad’s hotel CEO
job. City kid, seems 16 but is actually the youngest in the cabin. Just turned 12.
Cassandra- the girl from Fairfield county who has already developed a social anxiety disorder and is
desperate to make friends and also desperately homesick. Her parents thought this would be good for
her. 12
Claude- The girl from Quebec who doesn’t smell great. Also dislikes everyone at camp. 12, almost 13.
Mom- Cassandra’s mom. Possibly a disembodied voice, possibly played by the actor playing Kimbo,
possibly performed by literal Marian Breeze.
Dad- Disembodied voice, can be pre-recorded or voiced by the actor playing
Claude/Taryn/Nicole/Genevieve
Director/Camp Girls- Disembodied voices that fill the space, never need to be seen, can be pre-recorded.
