This is a play that has stuck with me since I first read it. Not often do you find a play that imbeds itself so deeply into your brain that it alters how you view the world, even if it’s just the occasional thought of “I hope that tree likes me”. The absurdity of the concept never distracts from the story as the characters are so down to earth and the world feels fully realized. This is a playground for all aspects of a theatre company, from actors to designers to producers!
