Creche Wars! (Or Nursery Wars!)

It's 2022 in a seemingly peaceful creche somewhere. Red Room Kids and Blue Room kids are not so much playing in harmony... more like an ongoing Creche standoff!
Romesh is a Blue Room kid, but his crush is Julia, a Red Room kid, so they must break from their waring factions to be together.
Thankfully Miss Shakespeare is on hand to try to keep the peace.

Familiar?

Then there's Part 2 - Baby Assassins!

There's a greater evil outside the creche, so both waring factions decide to make peace and tackle this evil together, but will they succeed?

A dark comedy 10 to 15 mins. (I might make a family version.

As someone with an early childhood development background who spent years of her career in classrooms, this play had me in stitches! "From the mouths of babes" doesn't even begin to cover it! The balance of child-like dialogue and ultra-adult nudges at the audience is just great. Each of these little creche warriors is unique and specific in their own way, giving comedic actors the opportunity to play BIG...while they play LITTLE! The over-the-top ending just about killed me! Goofy fun!

The kids are outrageously silly and still endearing - who wouldn't love a bunch of kids so deeply concerned with international politics? This play is super fun but it has some teeth - baby teeth of course, but teeth nonetheless.

This play is a hoot and would be a ton of fun for actors, directors, and audiences!
