Often the best silliness is the silliness that takes itself seriously. And this play? This play is peak silly. The sort that makes you want to dress up in ye olden garb while donning a cat headband and drawing whiskers on with marker. I can see this being a hit with high schools, colleges, and professional theatres alike. Simply wonderful. Now I must be off to channel my inner Brave Cat and swat things off flat surfaces!!

Chris Soucy is a master of language. Proof of that is his short play Midnight Counsel. As one of the two "defenseless humans" in my household, I can only hope my cat Lucy feels as passionately about protecting us as this group of kitties does. LOVE THIS!
