Deshi and Hito, siblings descended from powerful magicians, cross paths for the first time in years after going separate ways in pursuit of their own ideals. Hito plans to challenge the family's guardian spirit, Tebiki, at the top of Mt. Shi to prove himself. Deshi follows to protect her brother on his foolish quest. When they both encounter danger on the mountain, they must work together to face their limitations and learn the meaning of mastery.
