Same Flight Next Year

(10-minute play.) Two strangers accidentally become annual seatmates on a flight home for Thanksgiving. Five flights later, Michael and Sarah have built an unlikely friendship that exists only between takeoff and landing. But when one of them wonders whether it's time to let the tradition end, they must decide what this unusual relationship really means. And if turkeys can really fly.

I have so many questions about these two... and I adore that. BRENT ALLES doesn't explain all of it, but the concepts of friendship, traditions, and openness surround this wonderful short play. My biggest question: Where can I get one of those turkeys?

This is a lovely play about a very special kind of loving relationship. Plutonic, or is it, really? Will it grow, will there be a tragic end, will it just fizzle out? Time will tell. The gentle kindness of the script consumed me from the very beginning. The mystery of the love story kept me guessing. Definitely recommended.
