Eva Kotchever headed a lesbian sex club called “Eve Addam’s Tearoom” in Greenwich Village in the 1920s. The New York City Police Department raided her club and she was arrested on an obscenity charge and deported back to her native Poland where she was sent to Auschwitz for being Jewish and was killed there.
