The Workshop Theater is pleased to recognize Rose T.M. as a playwright selected out of a competitive pool of applicants for our Fall 2021 Writer’s Intensive. The Writer’s Intensive is an eight-week long, playwright-driven process geared towards revising an existing play. In a play reminiscent of The Royale or Chad Deity, Rose poses urgent questions about coming out to one's community, and what one is supposed to do with the very real life consequences of transphobia. Their writing is smart, rhythmic, and a joy to hear out loud. Our congratulations and thanks to Rose.
