Located in Ogden, Utah, Weber State University is committed to fostering new work and new writers. Every four years we produce a season of entirely new plays and musicals drawn from solicited works, works commissioned especially for our actors, and from writers in our community. Plays developed at Weber State University, such as Mockingbird by Julie Jensen, The Plain Princess by Jim Christian and Tom Edward Clark, Picnic at Hanging Rock by Daniel Zaitchik and more have gone on to be produced across the country and to win national awards and recognition.
