YouthPLAYS is a publisher of challenging, entertaining plays and musicals for schools, youth theatres, universities, community theatres and professional theatres for young audiences. Founded by Jonathan Dorf and Ed Shockley, we represent more than 400 shows by playwrights in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. We are particularly interested in one-act plays with flexible casts for competition, and plays that speak to diverse audiences, especially by BIPOC playwrights. For young playwrights (19 and under), we have an annual one-act play competition, New Voices. Submission details are on our website.
