“ This play is funny, sexy, visceral, and horrifying. We're lead through a series of sexual relationships juxtaposed against a voice class, that creates wonderful ground for tension and relief. And while I laughed out loud several times, the end had me in tears. I love the sexuality of TO THE GRIND, how Cabral paints pictures of bodies speaking without words, and the engaging language throughout. ”

Love that the names and descriptions of those lessons already sound so sensual and are coupled with details of 1’s different encounters which left me breathless after finishing this play which isn't a bad thing.
