AZUL

When a lifelong New Yorker faces the loss of her Cuban-born mother and her own sense of identity, she digs into her legacy and uncovers the story of her mother's beloved aunt, her own tia abuela. While the family fled Cuba during Castro's revolution, their tia remained on the island for the love of another woman.

Beautiful play about grief and identity. I was moved by the end and can't wait to see where it goes.
